If you read any blog post about Salesforce careers, they will undoubtedly champion the coveted SFDC certification. And why wouldn't they? Certifications are easily understood, employer desired, and managed by Salesforce corporate. Makes sense.
However, I must respectfully disagree. The future is Trailhead*.
*I say this with the caveat that I am famously bad at predicting the future. If I could accurately predict the future, the Pittsburgh Steelers would have many more Superbowl rings to their name. But I digress . . .
